Technical Support Engineer – Brisbane Office

MineWare is a Komatsu Group Company and a global industry leader in providing monitoring systems and services for the mining industry. Due to our continued growth, we have an open position to join our Integrated Support Centre Engineering Team in the Brisbane office.

We are looking for candidates who enjoy working on new and challenging problems in a fast-paced product development environment.

This role will involve

  • Diagnosis and resolution of level 3 support issues.
  • Providing in office engineering services to ensure the successful configuration and validation of MineWare product installations/deployments.
  • Working with the Product Development Engineering Teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide expert level 3 Engineering support.
  • Effective and efficient resolution of assigned product support tasks.
  • Liaise with clients through support ticket lifecycle.
  • Maintain support issue tracking.
  • Recommend product/process improvements.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree qualified in Engineering (Mechatronics/ Mechanical/Electrical)
  • Experience in C# and /or C++ programming
  • Experience in MS SQL Server
  • Excellent problem diagnosis and solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Energetic and self-motivated
  • Familiarity with mining operations or heavy earth moving machinery and technology would be an advantage.
